Muttahida Ulema Board

Muttahida Ulema Board, Punjab was initially constituted through an executive order on 09.08.1997 for a period of three (03) years with the objective to recommend steps for removal of irritants among various sects; and inter-alia, to look into the cases of objectionable literature. The Board was re-constituted from time to time. The Board was last constituted in 2022 comprising 31 Members.

The Muttahida Ulema Board Punjab Bill 2022, having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab on the 5th day of December, 2022, and assented to by the Governor of the Punjab on the 14th day of December 2022, is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab.

Dr. Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naeemi is the Chairman of Muttahida Ulema Board Punjab.
