- Religious charities and endowments
- Religious training and education
- Budget accounts and audit matters
- Purchase of stores and capital goods for the Department
- Service matters except those entrusted to Services and General Administration Department
- Administration of the following laws and rules:
- Music in Muslim Shrine Act, 1942
- The Punjab Publication of Holy Quran (Elimination of Printing and Recording Errors) Act, 2010
- Waqaf Properties Ordinance, 1979
- Matters incidental and ancillary to the above subjects
