Secretary/Chief Administrator Auqaf Punjab, Dr. Ehsan Bhutta, visited Multan Division and paid respects at the sacred shrines of Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya (RA) and Hazrat Shah Rukn-e-Alam (RA) offered Fateha and prayed for Pakistan's unity, peace, stability, and prosperity. During the visit, the Secretary directed representatives of the Walled City Authority to ensure that the construction of public washrooms for the convenience of pilgrims is completed by 15 July without fail. CAA also instructed the Assistant Commissioner (City) and the local shrine managers to monitor the progress of the project on a daily basis. Later, Dr. Ehsan Bhutta inspected the ongoing restoration and development work at the shrine of Hazrat Musa Pak Shaheed (RA). Appreciating the Walled City Authority's pace of work, he set a deadline of three to four months for the completion of the remaining restoration activities.The Secretary also interacted with local devotees, who appreciated the Government of Punjab's efforts to restore and beautify the historic shrine. The visit was attended by the Assistant Commissioner (City), the Zonal Administrator Auqaf Multan, and managers of the Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA).
