Secretary/Chief Administrator Auqaf Punjab, Dr. Ehsan Bhutta, visited Pakpattan to oversee the annual Urs arrangements of Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Masood Ganj Shakar (RA) and presided over the dignified ceremony marking the opening of the sacred Beheshti Darwaza.During the visit, the Secretary reviewed the comprehensive arrangements made in line with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab for the annual Urs. CAA inspected special cleanliness and sanitation measures, the uninterrupted supply of safe drinking water, the establishment of medical camps and emergency response units, improvements to entry and exit routes, enhanced lighting arrangements, and the implementation of modern crowd management systems to facilitate pilgrims. Dr. Ehsan Bhutta directed the district administration, law enforcement agencies, Rescue 1122, the Health Department, the Auqaf Department, and all other relevant departments to ensure a peaceful, secure, well-organized, and spiritually enriching environment for devotees throughout the Urs, enabling them to perform their religious observances and visit the shrine with ease and comfort.On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Pakpattan Asif Raza, District Police Officer (DPO) Javed Chaddar, officers of the district administration, and Zonal Administrator Auqaf Punjab Babar Sultan also accompanied the Secretary during the visit.
