Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Punjab, Mr. Nabeel Javed, chaired a high-level meeting alongside Secretary/Chief Administrator Auqaf Punjab, Dr. Ehsan Bhutta, to review the ongoing calligraphy, beautification, and infrastructure development projects at the shrine of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA).The meeting was attended by Khateeb Data Darbar Mufti Mukhtar Nadeem, Administrator Data Darbar Muhammad Ali Khan, NESPAK General Manager Mr.Adil Nazir, renowned calligraphy expert Mr.Irfan Qureshi, Assistant Commissioner (City) Rana Aamir, SDO Mr.Qaiser Muneer, and other senior administrative and technical officials.During the briefing, Secretary/Chief Administrator Auqaf Punjab Dr. Ehsan Bhutta stated that, in line with the vision of the Chief Minister Punjab, the Auqaf Department is transforming Data Darbar into a model project that integrates heritage conservation, modern infrastructure, and world-class public facilities.CAA informed the meeting that the overall development project is scheduled for completion by June 2027. However, all priority works being executed by TEPA and LDA—including the Outer Plaza, parking facilities, pedestrian walkways, underpass, and beautification of the shrine's exterior—will be completed before the annual Urs. He further stated that the Communication & Works (C&W) Department will also complete the installation of the main courtyard slab before the Urs, ensuring safe, convenient, and uninterrupted movement of devotees and visitors.
