The three-day celebrations of the 983rd Annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA) concluded with special prayers for peace, harmony, and the prosperity of Pakistan. The concluding prayer was attended by Provincial Minister for Auqaf and Religious Affairs Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, Advisor to the Chief Minister Punjab and Chairman of the Religious Affairs Committee, Data Darbar, Mr.Ali Dar, Secretary/Chief Administrator Auqaf Punjab Dr. Ehsan Bhutta, Director General Religious Affairs Hafiz Anees-ur-Rehman, other senior officials of the Department of Auqaf, and.Millions of devotees participated in the concluding supplication, while the area stretching from Greater Iqbal Park to Kachehri Chowk remained packed with pilgrims. During the three-day Urs celebrations, more than two million devotees had the privilege of paying their respects at the holy shrine.Distinguished personalities from the national leadership, the Federal Government, and various provincial governments also visited the shrine and presented traditional Chadars as a mark of reverence. To facilitate the large number of pilgrims, temporary Langar cooking centres were established within the shrine complex, providing free meals to hundreds of thousands of visitors throughout the Urs.Furthermore, thousonds of litres of fresh milk were distributed to pilgrims through the Milk Sabeel, with the entire operation carried out under the supervision of Punjab Food Authority teams to ensure quality, hygiene, and food safety.
