The celebrations of the 1,018th annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Miran Hussain Zanjani (RA) commenced with the traditional Chadar Poshi ceremony. Director General Religious Affairs Punjab Hafiz Anees-ur-Rehman inaugurated the Urs by laying a Chadar at the sacred shrine. A special prayer was also offered for the safety, progress and prosperity of the country and nation, peace and stability, and unity of the Muslim Ummah.The ceremony was attended by Chairman Punjab Muttahida Ulema Board Mufti Intikhab Ahmed Noori, Zonal Administrator Lahore Zone (East) and Auqaf Manager Mr.Gulzar Ahmed, Mr.Syed Idrees Shah, Mr.Pir Syed Nazim Hussain Shah, District Auqaf Khateeb Maulana Mufti Imran Hasni, along with a large number of Ulema and Mashaikh, officers and officials of the Auqaf Department, and devotees.
